Singapore's economy faced significant disruption due to COVID-19. To address this disruption, the government convened a task force which identified educational technology (EduTech) as a future growth sector which would in the long term create jobs, raise exports and attract foreign investment.
My research aimed at helping this task force to understand and map the various stakeholders and capabilities in Singapore's education & technology ecosystem.
On the basis of this research, we proposed several strategic opportunity areas and corresponding ecosystem enablers which both the government and private sector could address quickly to grow the EduTech sector in Singapore.
